I did take that break from Angelic Melody to relax over the last few days before the New Year. I worked a bit on The Good Life kit but mostly I relaxed after the frantic stitching before Christmas.

And on to progress/plans for Kell's Xmas Xstitching Challenge 2012.

I started her 2012 Band Sampler and I'm using WDW's holiday threads, I think Bethlehem by their colour guide, but I need to find where I put the label. I'm stitching 2 over 1 on 14 count navy aida. I think the colour works well. I was debating about trying a different colour for contrast, but I love this thread so much I think I'll just keep using it. The colour is so rich. I just have to be careful since this is my first time using non-colorfast hand-dyed threads.

maybe finish Tree of Stitches for my Grandma. I did choose colours that would match her decor in the living room.

I'd like to give AAN's Christmas Drop to someone as well. I like working on it, it's very fun! Possibly my parents? I have more plans, like starting my first ever HAED tonight, so I'm off to get started!
